How to Get Started with your own

First:  Choose your own URL -- a .ws Website Domain name
A domain name is simply an address on the Internet. Rather than trying to remember the boring IP numbers simply type www.YourDomainName.ws. THOUSANDS of domains are registered everyday, but the current estimates indicate only 25 percent of the world population uses the Internet.Eventually the Internet will be as common as electricity, which mean seventually 75 percent of the world will connect to the Internet and want their own websites. That's millions of new people and websites that haven't even scratched the surface.  A lot of new people just getting started need assistance and a place to start and a .WS website is perfect!

Second:  Do some homework and research Global Domains International

To give you a comparison, I own and design two other websites – an online children’s homeschool bookstore and a Mobile DJ service.  Bothof these sites -- one is a .com, the other a .net -- are hosted elsewhere and are edited and maintained using MS FrontPage and HTMLcode.  I’m by no means an expert designer, but the amount of work and skill involved is more extensive and quite different using traditional design methods than from using GDI's point-and-click SiteBuilder.

Get Customized e-mails through GDI's WebMail
GDI's WebMail allows you to use your own domain name as your e-mail address and you can access your e-mail through your account from any Internet connection in the world!

    For more advanced customers, you can take advantage of GDI's hosting service.  This allows you to build a site from scratch bypassing some of the user-friendly restrictions built into the previously mentioned SiteBuilder option. This allows you to build a custom WebSite just as you want it, then upload the files to our servers.  Hosting gives you the ultimate in flexibility!

  • URL Forwarding
    GDI's URL forwarding option is perfect if you already have a WebSite created elsewhere, but are unable to move the existing content. Often times,your current URL is hard to remember, unprofessional, or just plain ugly. You can use URL forwarding to route your new .WS domain to your existing WebSite. When someone visits your .WS domain,they will be automatically transported to your existing WebSite instantly! Or you can have your .com website forwarded to your .WS website.

  • All for only $10 a month.  Oh, and did I mention there's a free seven-day trial period?

$10 a month is:

No other methods of cancellation are accepted.  Please remember this procedure is only for the security of your account.

If you are not satisfied or would like to cancel anytime during your seven-day free trial, you can reach the cancellation support department by calling (760) 602-3000 and choosing the appropriate menu option between Monday and Friday from 8-5 Pacific Time.  Alternate methods of cancellation are not accepted and must be placed by phone.
